1. Scope

This policy describes information handled when you use the Wake AI app or visit this website. Wake AI does not require a conventional account. Some information stays on your device, while information needed for requested online features, purchases, support, and measurement may be processed by us and service providers.

2. Information we handle

Alarms, schedules, labels, preferences, and generated audio are primarily stored on your device. When you request spoken audio, your message, selected voice, and related request information are processed to create it. We also handle an app-generated identifier, feature and diagnostic events, subscription status, and purchase information needed to provide and support the service.

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send. The app may collect device and app version, language, and error information to help diagnose problems and improve reliability.

3. Custom voice samples

If you choose to create a custom voice, you can record or select a voice sample. The app asks for your consent before uploading that sample for processing. A sample may remain on your device while a request is pending or needs recovery. The sample and resulting voice information may be processed by services that help create and deliver the feature.

Deleting a custom voice or asking us to delete related information starts a deletion process; it does not necessarily remove every copy immediately. Some records or backups may be retained when needed for legal, security, support, or operational reasons. Contact us if you want help with a deletion request.

4. How we use information

We use information to deliver alarms and requested audio, verify access to subscription features, process purchases through Apple, answer support requests, maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and understand how the app and website are used. We use the information only for purposes connected to operating and improving Wake AI or as otherwise permitted by law.

5. Website analytics

This website uses analytics technology on its pages. It may collect page views, browser and device details, approximate location derived from network information, and browser identifiers or cookies. We use this information to understand website traffic and improve the site. Your browser settings may let you limit cookies or tracking.

6. Sharing

We share information with service providers that support audio and voice processing, app hosting, analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, payments, and customer support, as needed for their work. Apple handles App Store purchases under its own terms and privacy policy. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

7. Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable safeguards for information we handle, but no system is completely secure. Information may be stored on your device and in systems used to operate the service. We keep it only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including service delivery, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, and support. Retention periods can differ by data type and service provider.

8. Your choices and requests

You can change or remove many alarms and preferences in the app. Removing the app may remove local data, subject to device backup and storage behavior. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive certain personal information, or object to some uses. Email support@wakeai.site to make a request; we may need to verify it and may retain information where law allows or requires.

9. Children and international processing

Wake AI is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. Information may be processed in countries other than your own, where privacy laws may differ.
